Both groomers were out wednesday doing an excellent job.stu finally got the bombi up the hill! this trail is twisty, tight and steep.pretty much have to catwalk the bombi all the way up! he also got the golden glow done out and back and went up around the mountain(eldridge settlement).bombi now has some clutch problems but hopefully not too serious.billy took the gilbert from the mines road bridge through the bypass,up the butler, into swinging bridge and out across the #11 crossroad to the stop sign where they plowed to.(note:the plowed portion of crossroad is snowcovered but icy underneath-be cautious).groomer came back out to butler, down the butler and into dean chapter.i think jcrom is grooming friday after storm? trails are in good shape but remember this is a risky sport with lots of potential dangers, so ride with care! thanks for all the help and have fun, turbocat andy

hello fellow sledders.groomers have been out many times over the last month or so(I lot more than I have been updating this site!) stu&liz have been working on the old #2 bombi just as much as they have been grooming with it as well as doing signs and trail trimming. those 2 have more energy than the groomer itself! the gilbert groomer was out tuesday from mines road bridge to #12 highway and back via dean chapter and bypass(101 trail).thanks douglas! it is flat and fast, but icy .be carefull! the mines road itself is rough because this is a road, not a trail and does not get groomed. peach road and gold river lake road are both plowed and icy but passable for now.not sure what butler road or swing bridge road are like? #11 crossroad is plowed approximately half way from 101 end thanks to the dozer and road grader(those darn logging companys?) hope to get out to wallaback way next time out. thanks to all who help with the grooming and trail work.anybody interested in grooming call andy798-4803 or dougie 792-8300.just waiting for more snow! andy

...from the clubhouse to the bridge is as good as it's ever been. The by-pass from bridge to the start of Dean Chapter needs snow yet very drivable, probably the same as last couple years. Dean Chapter is wavy but not choppy, the snow is to hard.still a nice ride. 101 & Wallaback rd are flat and hard as is the #11 across to the not so swinging bridge, every one should go see the Bridge it's a nice run.The Butler Rd is not a trail so is not signed but it is flat and fast so be carefull if on it, a lot use it and with all types of vehicles.. I stuck on 70 miles just going back and forth to the grommer, with a few blasts on the way out this morning, Becareful but have fun Dougie

The groomer is unstuck and is still grooming Elanman & Teamgreensnopro are heading out in the next hour to spell of Lil Douro. The Curtis Hatt or the Dean Chapter trail are passable with a sled but due to trees down are impassable with the groomer so won't be done tonight. Use caution on the bypass the grommer broke through ice in a large water hole its marked and I'm told a sled can go around the hole
